We did it! We have been dreaming of this for the past 2 years and here it is.
We created a group of local flower farmers to provide beautiful flowers to our communities through the local florists. Introducing: French Creek Flower Collective.
We saw a disconnect between florists and flower farmers. Sure, availability lists, sales platforms, etc are wonderful and easily available today…but time. Florists don’t have the time to leave their shops to go shop for flowers. So, we decided that we’ll bring the flowers to them!
We created a mobile market by having our truck outfitted with a pull out drawer. Steve and I had the general idea for this pull out - and it came to life with 2 friends: a cabinet maker and an engineer. Now florists can shop the truck right outside their front door!
We hired a driver (hi Dawn!) and started our weekly route last week. It was well received and everyone was so excited to learn about us!
